W wakacje 2021 r. Kalina Jackiewicz miała możliwość uczestniczyć w wakacyjnym stażu organizowanym przez firmę In-Space Missions w UK specjalizującą się w budowie małych satelitów i ich obsłudze.
W trakcie tygodnia całodniowych zajęć możliwe było zapoznanie się z poszczególnymi dziedzinami wiedzy, które będą potrzebne w projekcie budowy naszego satelity. Były to dyskusje i rozmowy ze specjalistami dziedzin takich jak: radiokomunikacja, elektronika w kosmosie, licencje i uprawnienia dotyczące małych satelitów, wymagane testy przed wystrzeleniem CubeSata na orbitę i optyka w kosmosie. Zorganizowane zostały również szkolenia z programów symulacji i obliczeń specyfikacji satelitów takich jak STK12 oraz DRAMA.
Z powodu pandemii COVID-19 i restrykcji podróży, cały staż odbył się zdalnie.

Internship in In-Space Missions, a company constructing satellites in the UK (01-08-2021)
In the summer of 2021, Kalina Jackiewicz had the opportunity to participate in a summer internship organized by In-Space Missions in the UK, specializing in the construction and operation of small satellites.
During the week of full-day classes, it was possible to get acquainted with individual areas of knowledge that will be needed in the project of building our satellite. These were discussions and talks with specialists in fields such as radio communication, space electronics, licenses and qualifications for small satellites, required tests before launching CubeSat into orbit, and optics in space. Trainings in simulation and calculation programs for satellite specifications such as STK12 and DRAMA were also organized.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and travel restrictions, the entire internship was held remotely.
